I was lucky enough to catch the la show last night with the decemberists. It was really great. They played for a little over two hours. They played:

the mariner's revenge song (including screaming/groaning sounds made by the audience in simulation of being swallowed by a whale)
- also during the part where petra sings as the mother she did cute hand gestures. i couldn't help, but smile. Come to think of it I have never smiled so much at a show. It was really fun.

I am definitely going to be seeing them again tomorrow night at the glasshouse. I've been meaning to make a post about the trip, but I am really lazy. Expect one soon though.

Well I am leaving for the week. Goin on a mini tour with my friend's band.
Stoppin at river side to night for the first show, then over to carson city tomorrow. From there up to oregon (eugene and salem). The Decemberists are playing in oregeon when I am going to be up there so hopefully I can catch one of their shows. If not they're playing down here later this month. (Alina hates me). Then we might stop off in the bay area on the way back. Not sure. Anyway talk to you all when I get back.

Haha today was a pretty good April Fool's day.
In government during notes I fell out of my chair and started to act like I was having a seizure, and everyone was just like "O_O DEREK!" and my teacher looked so confused haha.
Then while I was aiding for comp sci, the teacher and I wanted to do a trick to one of the other teachers and make him think his website was hacked. So I threw this together real quick.

The teacher is really anal and freaks out over everything so it was funny to read his panic emails to the tech guy at our school.
After school I hung out with meh friends sean, and kyle and got some chipotle. It was good stuff, fo sheeze. I think I have a date for prom so that's coolio, annnnnnnddddddd goodbye.

I saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind today, and it is sooooooooo good. I loved it. I went in feeling kind of crappy, but came out content. The writing is good, and the cast is awesome. Elijah's (spelling?) character was a douche. Anyway, I highly recommend this movie :). Message me if you wanna know what it's about. I am too lazy to type it here haha.

I wanted to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind tonight. Nothing ever works out though. It's always something or another. I have bugers in my nose and they are to blame for my mild annoyance. I think I am going to blow my nose... Hold on a sec... Okay good. I didn't really blow my nose right there. I just kept typing. I am going to really do it this time, though. BAM!
1:30 in the am. I am tired, but don't want to go to sleep. Do you ever feel like that? It's kind of nice. I feel like I have all the time to just sit here. Tommorow is a year away. Damn sundays. That is kind of weird. "Damn Sundays". Sundays are supposed to be religious, but I dammned sundays to hell. Good thing I am an atheist. Or am I? I am still trying to figure that one out. I need to figure a lot of things out. Is it time to end the em0 rant?
I never spell check these things, and I usually don't read them after I type them up. There must be so many errors. I have pretty poor typing skills.
Anywho. I went to a party on friday night. My first real party actually. It had everything to. Drunk people, high people, people getting in fights, people having sex in el bathroom, that one wasted dood that tries to sing with the band, but instead just yells "FUCK YOU BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL KICK YOUR ASS!!!!!!" Haha. It was pretty whack status. I head some funny as prank phone calls though. Talk to me if you wanna hear them sometime.
I think I want a girlfriend. Even though I have all these great friends that I love, I still feel lonely. I need that one person who understands me, and will be there for stuff like movie nights, or just hanging out and talking. Cheesey perhaps, but it's what I want. Alright, time to end this passage, and go listen to some hendrix, beatles, and elliott smith; a.k.a. 2am mellow music session 2k4.

Thanks, everyone for the happy b-days :D. I have been busy all weekend. Only been home like 20 minutes the entire time. Then sunday I helped my friend move to his new house, and then a few of us got chinese food, and watched Dummy. It was a pretty good movie. Editing was horrible, but funny none the less.

Derp.
I haven't been up to much lately. Just hanging out with friends, and sleeping. It's a good deal. Sleeping is one of the best things. No one bothering you, really awesome when you have good dreams, and you wake up brand new, fresh and ready to take on what ever the man has to offer... Fuck the man... Erm anyway, how are you? Good? Good.
I wanted to go visit the art institute for their open house, but my friend's car was having trouble and he didn't want to take it on the freeway in case something happened. It kind of sucks... I still dunno what I want to do when I get out of high school. I was thinking web design, or game design... Something along those lines, but there is always some one better out there. That doesn't help me out too much. I think of that then kind of give up on the idea. I should just stop being a little bitch though, and grow up. Make a decision. I am turning 18 next month after all (right twinny ;)).
It's been raining here for the past week or so. I love this weather. I like just staying inside and watching a movie. Movie nights are the shit, but I have no movie buddies. They all seem to live in san diego dammit. Anywho here are some photos I've taken recently.

I love those times, though short lived, when I feel completely content with the world. I do not have a single problem with anyone or anything. I took a good 2 hour nap today. I had not planned on actually sleeping. Just lying down on my bed while listening to some mellow music. I had that content feeling when I woke up. It was rockin to the 3rd power fo sho. I have to do an anthropomorphic drawing for art class. I am having trouble deciding what to do mine on, though. Anthropomorphic is like a fantasy creature. Like a Centaur (human+horse). I just have to mix a living thing with another living or non living thing. Murr. I'll think of something.
